The world’s first truly smart dash camera
Brief
Nextbase tasked us to design their next generation of dash cameras. This new product was to be the most advanced and user-friendly dash cam on the market, combining smart features with a sleek, modern look. It had to include 4K recording, AI-powered alerts, voice control, and 4G connectivity, all controlled through an easy-to-use mobile app. Built for safety, style, and simplicity, the iQ fits seamlessly into any car and brings the future of driving to today’s roads.

With driver safety, car security and driver assistance at the forefront of the latest Nextbase technology, the all-new iQ Smart Dash Cam transforms your driving experience with robust cloud-connected technology, innovative assist functionality — like real-time Witness Mode and Valet Mode — and a whole slew of additional safety features, from "Roadwatch AI", enhanced vehicle security monitoring systems and much more.
The Nextbase iQ is not just a 4G Dash Cam; it's a bona fide prodigy that provides cutting-edge smart connected car technology to any car, new or old. The iQ gives a 540-degree view of any viechle whether its locked away or during driving, an additional supporting rear camera provides full coverage to any car. Built-in 4G SIM allows for location data and live video to be accessed through the handy iQ app, this is the core platform for users to access their cars security and keep peace of mind.
Alloy has been developing iQ with Nextbase over the last year from initial concept development, right through into manufacture. Alongside this the development of the iQ app took place in order to create a seamless product experience from setup to daily use.
